Powerlifting Coaching
For serious lifters looking to increase their total, TFN offers top tier powerlifting coaching. If you are hungry to put some kilos on your lifts, and take your training to the next level, powerlifting coaching with TFN is for you. Good lifters are not always the strongest, and the strongest are not always good lifters. Players make plays, and lifters make lifts, and TFN lifters do it with polish. You can tell a polished lifter from across the room, and all TFN lifters show a respect for the sport, and demonstrate it on the platform.
FAQ
-
We recommend that most powerlifters train four days per week. Some sessions will be in-person at TFN, but that means you will need another place to train to complete your training week. You create a plan with your coach designed to maximize your gains with in-person sessions, and sessions on your own. Most powerlifters need at least one 2-hour initial consultation to really break down technique and get ready for the remote work to come.
-
In-person sessions are $119/hr. Virtual Coaching Basic is high-touch remote only training performed on your own at $200/4 weeks with video critiques. Virtual Coaching Plus is our high-touch service at only $150/4 weeks when paired with at least one monthly in-person session to accelerate progress. How much in-person vs remote work is up to you and your coach, and not everyone is ready for remote work right out of the gate.

Yes, we handle athletes at local meets, but this also depends on our other athletes’ training schedules. You should talk with your coach before picking and signing up for a meet.

Our PL coaches assist with meet prep nutrition, as well as water cutting. However if you want to make physique change a priority we recommend working with our Nutrition coaches.

We are technique intensive and we’d be very surprised if you’ve ever had your lifts broken down to the degree we will on day one. Most lifters have a modified DUP style program with heavy emphasis on the competition lifts. Educating lifters is one of our primary goals, and we pride ourselves on having lifters who know as much as most coaches.
